Coming Home to Myself – The Gift of Looking Inward
I have always been a seeker – searching for meaning, answers, and understanding. Life has taken me through many experiences and deep reflections. But it wasn’t until I began to turn my gaze inward that I truly started to find what I was looking for. Through my journey with the Yggdrasil shamanic school, I have discovered a new way of being myself – with peace, awareness, and a deeper insight into what it truly means to live in balance.
Ever since I was young, I’ve been a searching soul. I’ve read, traveled, experienced, and questioned – always in pursuit of something. Sometimes I didn’t know what I was searching for. Other times, the pull was so strong within me that I couldn’t do anything but follow it.
This quest has taken me to many places, for better or worse. But it wasn’t until I began my journey with the Yggdrasil shamanic school that I felt it: Now the pieces are falling into place. It felt like landing. Like being allowed to calm down the eternal outward gaze – and finally turn it inward.
Coming Home to Myself
For me, it’s about an ever-deepening awareness. A process that has neither a single beginning nor end, yet continues to lead me closer to an inner peace and security I’ve never known before.
Through this journey, I’ve begun to accept myself at a deeper level. Not just as a thought or an affirmation, but as a quiet realization: I am where I need to be. I don’t need to search as much anymore. I can find peace – and still continue to grow.
The Seeking Nature – and the Gift of Looking Within
As humans, we are in a constant state of seeking. For meaning, for answers, for direction. And often, this creates chaos – in our minds, in our emotions, and in our lives. But something transformative happens when we stop running from ourselves and begin to listen inward. That’s when a new type of choice emerges – conscious choices – that provide direction from a completely different place within us.
This has been one of the greatest gifts in my process: Understanding that I can actually choose, even in crisis. That I have the ability to shift perspectives, change patterns, and discover new ways to meet life – right in the midst of difficulties.
Choosing Differently – Even When Life Storms
Life happens, and it happens to all of us. It brings both joy and pain. While we cannot control everything, we can meet experiences in new ways. This has been one of my most profound realizations.
Because even in the darkest moments, possibilities exist – if we dare to look for them. I’ve learned to face challenges with a different perspective. Not necessarily to “fix” everything, but to search for what can be learned, understood, or transformed in what’s happening.
Silence That Explains Everything
In this process, silence has become an ally. It’s not empty or frightening – it’s filled with life, insight, and presence. I don’t always know how to explain it, but it’s as if life’s mysteries reside in this silence. There, I find what I need, when I dare to remain in it.
And it has demanded something from me. Because transformation isn’t a button you press. It’s a process – a spiral – that moves both inward and upward. Sometimes it happens in bursts, other times in flow. But always at my own pace.
Everything is a Process
We are all different. We learn differently, develop differently. And precisely because of this, it’s crucial to understand that this isn’t about quick solutions, but about getting to know oneself deeply – and accepting that development takes time.
There is no “right path.” Only your path.
If there’s one thing I want to emphasize today, it’s this: No matter where you are in life – no matter what situation you’re facing – there’s always a way forward. A path ahead. And it begins with a fresh perspective. A new mindset. And a willingness to turn inward and embrace what life is truly trying to show you.
