We process certain types of personal data. The types of data we process are listed in the overview above. In most cases our legal basis is consent. This means that we collect and process personal data based on the consent of the person concerned. For purchases in the online store and for access to courses, however, the legal basis is not consent but the necessity of performing the contract, and for purchases also the statutory bookkeeping requirements.

Processing of certain personal data outside the EU and EEA

The website is hosted on a server at Hetzner in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). All customer and CRM data is stored there too: accounts, orders, e-mail lists, enquiries and course data. Recordings of seminars and workshops are stored with Bunny.net on a server in Frankfurt. Some of the services we use are provided by companies headquartered in the USA: Google (statistics and embedded YouTube videos), Cloudflare (security and speed), Stripe (card payments) and Zoom (live seminars and workshops). The transfer of personal data to these companies is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, approved by the European Commission, and on the EU standard contractual clauses where necessary.

Which data each service processes is set out in the overview “When do we process personal data?” above and in the cookie overview.

Your rights

Access to your personal data

If you are registered in our systems, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, should you wish to. This means that you can have the data sent to you, or be told where you can find it. In some cases we may need to ask you for further information in order to confirm your identity before you are given access. Contact the data controller if you would like access.

Correction of your personal data

If you are registered in our systems and believe that we have registered incorrect information about you, you have the right to have the data corrected, or you can be given access to correct it yourself. In some cases we may need to ask you for further information in order to confirm your identity before you are given access. Contact the data controller if you would like a correction.

Deletion of your personal data

If you are registered in our systems but want us to delete the data we hold about you, you have the right to this. If you want your data deleted, please contact us via this page. In some cases we may need to ask you for further information in order to confirm your identity before you are given access. Contact the data controller if you would like deletion.

Restriction of the processing of your personal data

If you are registered in our systems and want to restrict the processing of your personal data, you have the right to ask for this. You can ask that certain forms of processing stop, or that we stop all processing. Please note that in some cases there may be legal reasons why such a restriction cannot be carried out. Deletion of data may then be an alternative, if a general restriction is not possible under the applicable rules. In some cases we may need to ask you for further information in order to confirm your identity before we can make the changes. Contact the data controller if you would like the processing restricted.

Data portability

If you are registered in our systems, and the collection and processing of this personal data is carried out automatically and based on consent, you have the right to transfer the data to other providers.
